When to perform root canal treatment under the microscope?
Root canal treatment is performed in any situation where the pulp of a tooth has become infected – usually as a result of advanced decay. Infection of the pulp is irreversible, so it is necessary to remove it from the chamber and roots of the tooth, which allows to cure the developing inflammation. In order for the treatment to be effective and the inflammation to disappear completely, it is necessary to prepare the root canals along their entire length.
