What are the benefits of having dentures made?
A well-designed and individually tailored dental prosthesis significantly improves the quality of life—both in terms of aesthetics and function. At Dentaxo, you not only get your missing teeth replaced, but above all, you regain your natural facial appearance and freedom in everyday activities.
- Casual dining
- Improving facial appearance
- Stabilization of the bite and protection of remaining teeth
- Slower bone loss
When is it worth deciding on a dental prosthesis?
Dental prostheses are an effective solution for both single tooth loss and complete edentulism. We most often recommend them when:
- tooth loss affects facial appearance and self-confidence,
- difficulties with eating or chewing harder foods appear,
- malocclusion or stress on the remaining teeth begins,
- the patient cannot have permanent restorations (e.g., bridges or implants)
- you want a quick and affordable solution to replace missing teeth.
If you notice any of these symptoms, it is worth scheduling a prosthetic consultation. Early replacement of missing teeth helps to stop bone loss and improves your quality of life – that is why a prosthetic consultation is the best first step.
Types of dental prostheses at Dentaxo Wrocław
At Dentaxo, we offer a full range of modern dentures – from traditional and flexible to stable implant-supported restorations. We select the solution based on the condition of the oral cavity, aesthetic expectations, and the patient's budget.
Acrylic dentures
Acrylic dentures are a classic and universal solution used for partial or complete tooth loss. They provide an aesthetic appearance and quick fabrication, which is why they are often chosen by people looking for an effective and affordable replacement.
Flexible dentures
Made of lightweight, resilient material, flexible dentures fit perfectly to the tissues and ensure high wearing comfort. Their natural appearance and lack of metal elements make them an ideal option for patients who value discretion and comfort.
Skeletal prostheses
Skeletal dentures feature a metal framework that transfers chewing forces to the natural teeth, increasing stability and comfort of use. Thanks to their smaller volume, they are more comfortable to wear than classic acrylic dentures and are ideal for partial tooth loss.
Implant-supported dentures
This is the most advanced and stable form of tooth restoration, in which the prosthesis is mounted on implants. This solution ensures a natural feeling when eating, prevents bone loss, and provides exceptional comfort comparable to permanent prosthetic restorations.
Overdenture prostheses
Overdentures are attached to special clasps, locators, or bars connected to implants. This keeps them securely in place while allowing them to be easily removed for hygiene purposes, combining implant stability with the practicality of removable dentures.
What does the process of making dentures at Dentaxo look like?
Consultation and treatment plan – during the first visit, the doctor assesses the condition of the oral cavity, discusses the patient’s expectations, and selects the best type of denture. This is the time to present possible solutions and costs.
Taking impressions and documentation – precise scans or impressions and photographs are taken to create a perfectly fitted denture design.
Fitting the structure – a preliminary version of the denture is fitted to check the aesthetics, tooth alignment, bite height, and comfort. Adjustments can be made at this stage.
Delivery of the finished denture and check-up – The patient receives the final denture and the dentist instructs them on how to use it and maintain hygiene. After a few days, a check-up and minor adjustments are made to ensure complete comfort.

FAQ
How long does it take to make a dental prosthesis in Wrocław?
The standard time for making a denture at Dentaxo is 1–3 weeks, depending on the type of restoration and the number of fittings. Immediate dentures can be made on the same day, while implant-supported dentures are made after the implants have completely healed.
How much does a dental prosthesis cost in Wrocław?
The price of a denture depends on the type of restoration, the materials used, and the scope of prosthetic work. At Dentaxo, we prepare an individual quote during the consultation—the simplest solutions are cheaper, while the most stable and aesthetic ones (e.g., implant-supported dentures) are more expensive.
What is the best denture for complete edentulism?
Implant-supported dentures or snap-on overdentures provide the greatest stability and comfort. These solutions minimize denture movement, improve eating comfort, and slow down bone loss.
For patients looking for a more economical solution, classic acrylic dentures are a good choice, as they can also be comfortable and aesthetic when properly fitted.
Will the prosthesis be comfortable?
A well-fitting denture should not cause pain or irritation. The initial adaptation period usually lasts a few days. If the denture causes pressure anywhere, at Dentaxo we make quick adjustments to restore full comfort.
Do dentures made at Dentaxo Wrocław look natural?
Yes. We match the color, shape, and alignment of the teeth to the patient’s facial features, so that the dentures look natural and harmonious. Modern materials used in flexible dentures, skeletal dentures, and implant prosthetics allow us to achieve a result very similar to natural teeth.
Can I eat normally with dentures?
Yes – after a short period of adaptation, most patients eat without any major restrictions. Implant-supported dentures and overdentures provide the highest stability during chewing, while with classic acrylic dentures it is advisable to avoid very hard foods at first.
What should you do if your dentures pinch or move around?
It is best to make an appointment for a check-up immediately. At Dentaxo Wrocław, we perform corrections, relining, or adjustments to dentures to restore their stability and comfort. Do not cut or bend the denture components yourself.

The result is a durable, aesthetic, and comfortable smile that improves the quality of everyday life.
Anxiety disorders and depression lead to overproduction of cortisol (stress hormone), which directly affects the tension of the jaw muscles. Sleep problems and insomnia further exacerbate teeth grinding at night.
Physiological factors include malocclusion and incorrect jaw alignment, which mechanically force incorrect muscle tension. Oral diseases (tooth decay, periodontitis), degeneration of the temporomandibular joints, and mineral deficiencies (especially magnesium) also increase the risk of developing bruxism.
The third category is environmental and behavioral factors. Caffeine, alcohol, and nicotine abuse stimulate the nervous system and increase teeth clenching. Poor diet and gastroesophageal reflux can cause discomfort leading to parafunction. Some medications, especially SSRI antidepressants, have bruxism as a side effect. An intense lifestyle without relaxation techniques completes the circle of risk factors.
Bruxism most often develops in people between the ages of 18 and 45, although it also occurs in children, especially during periods of intense tooth development or school stress.
